21.07.2025 21:18 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The HL had twin carburettors and more performance than other models. It also had things like a sporty steering wheel, fancy wheels, and a rev counter. As such it is an early hot (well warmish) hatch. I think it came out in about 1972.
01.07.2025 06:36 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It would grate with me too
16.06.2025 06:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I agree. I've lived my whole life in England and I only ever hear that phrase when watching a non native English speaker on TV.
16.06.2025 06:42 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The TR7 had the block of the dolomite sprint but lacked the 16 valve cylinder head, instead having the 8 valve head of the ordinary dolomite.
15.06.2025 07:43 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Possibly, certainly the time frame is right and getting something French fits the bill, but I wonder if it was simply a case of the Peugeot dealer doing the best sponsorship deal. Either way, I'd have been happy with a 504. They were good cars in their day.
08.06.2025 21:30 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Let's should say left.
08.06.2025 18:26 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Definitely peugeots. Most are 504s but there are a couple of others. Behind Joe Jordan is a 304 cabriolet and a couple of cars further let's is what I think is a 304 saloon.
08.06.2025 18:25 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Are you sure they used a unique bumper? I thought they just used a back bumper on the front. The hole for the rear fog lights was then used for the front indicators and sidelights. The higher spec cars had a front bumper without holes as the indicators were then beside the headlights.
25.05.2025 07:25 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Is this the same Gabby Agbonlahor who said a few months ago that Leeds would miss out on promotion?
15.05.2025 13:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Seat version of the Fiat Panda was actually called the Seat Marbella. I recall it being a bit cheaper than the fiat version.
05.05.2025 19:02 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0What happened in 2022 and 2023?
05.05.2025 10:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0No. He's a has-been
04.05.2025 13:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0They are both terribly unreliable cars so you will be poor if you drive one, whichever badge it's got.
03.05.2025 21:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The current Defender is for poor people???? Really???? The private school mums all drive them round here.
03.05.2025 20:59 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well there you go. I thought they'd won it. You live and learn.
03.05.2025 19:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0My money's on land rovers
03.05.2025 19:40 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0I like that you don't count the league one title in about 2010
03.05.2025 19:29 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Sorry I mean the series IIIA rapier was derived from the Audax series cars
03.05.2025 19:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0the arrow series alpine (derived from the arrow series hunter) lasted about as long as the rapier. The series IIIA didn't have an equivalent alpine because at the time the alpine was the sports car like the MGB. That alpine was derived from the Audax series saloons. Sorry if I'm being an anorak.
03.05.2025 19:19 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The identifier was the 'C' pillar. On the alpine it was car body colour, whereas on the rapier it was always black vinyl. I'm old enough to remember the 70s and in the day alpines were pretty common.
30.04.2025 20:39 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Well said. Daniel Farke has done a brilliant job and absolutely deserves to be backed, and backed properly, in the premier league. Remember the disarray we were in when he arrived and how quickly he turned us into a proper team, and look at our points total this season.
25.04.2025 12:42 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yep. And the cup winners cup and European cup we were cheated out of.
19.04.2025 16:58 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So we need a maximum of a win and a draw from our final 3 games. We are capable of winning any or all of them but it would be in the best interests of all concerned if we just stuff stoke and have it done with. Trouble is, that's too simple for Leeds.
19.04.2025 16:55 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Me neither. My favourite season ever.
14.04.2025 11:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0My first car was one of these. God it was awful.
08.04.2025 18:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I hope he doesn't need to have a blinder
03.04.2025 21:33 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Just the most gorgeous rear lights.
01.04.2025 19:54 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I do like a well designed steel wheel.
01.04.2025 08:07 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And today that free kick would be sent square in an attempt to work it up the flanks and get a cross in. Here they just put it into the danger area. There's something to be said for it.
