I’m wondering how much of the tools we use have an element of learned helplessness, and what criteria those with the purse strings judge productivity against.

If you know, you know. If you don’t, there’s not many tools that can help you (except YouTube and Copilot).

Don’t hate me, but I’m seriously considering using Toad instead of SSMS as my daily drive.

Not that SSMS isn’t good, it’s just that Toad does useful stuff without having to install additional plugins or Visual Studio….

The DigitalID won’t stop terrible people exploiting others by paying them in cash at low hourly rates and keeping them in modern day slavery.

It might even make things easier for them to employ undocumented workers.

‘Smashing the gangs’ also needs to include smashing the unscrupulous employers.

So, my question is:

WIBTA for commenting on the page with a link to the source of at least half of the document, asking the writer to acknowledge their sources ?
