Obviously there's plenty of reasons to make things yourself sometimes, but the way these videos frame it as "an easy trick" always makes me laugh

I love life hack videos in which the "easy trick" is way more time and effort then just buying something at a store. "There's no reason to ever buy honey again, just use this one trick to get all the honey you'll ever need" All you got to do is spend lots time and money getting into bee keeping!
