21.12.2024 15:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Why should tens of billions be forked out to those who engaged in poor financial planning? The social contract between generations is already ridiculously lopsided.

15.12.2024 20:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Went to get an eye test today. When they asked why I had booked one I had to think of a reason that wasnβt βa Westminster Hall debate led by Jim Shannon scared me into booking oneβ.

Always good to hear from an MP as to what life is like in Westminster and what needs to be done for people to actually feel the benefits of Government policy
Euston screen is back!
Nice to know that my train home is cancelled via big screen.
Stumbled upon this gem of a video from 1994
David Shaw, the first MP to communicate with constituents online, debates the potential impact of the internet on politics: youtu.be/ocY-HjZBPr4?...
1. My music taste is as cool as ever
2. I was 15 minutes away from 69,420 minutes listened :(
Farage accepting a Β£79 million donation from Musk, following his outrage at Labour staffers campaigning in the US election, would be insane hypocrisy
Unfortunately he doesnβt care
The Rwanda scheme cost Β£715 million and was nothing but a gimmick
Keep this in mind whenever the Conservative Party accuse the Government of being irresponsible with public finances
Nigel Farage, Kemi Badenoch, Jeremy Corbyn, and Wes Streeting hanging out in the no lobby for the assisted dying bill
29.11.2024 22:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I watched the first couple hours of the assisted dying debate before having a couple meetings
For the most part, it was a respectful and detailed debate on a very important matter. UK democracy at its finest
I understand the resignation but I do feel very bad for Haigh.
The incident was over a decade ago, the PM knew about it, and itβs clear that she didnβt really do anything wrong
Perhaps tonight is a good time to remember that about 19% of NHS staff in England are non-British nationals. They are some of the most hardworking & caring members of our society. They look after our sick & vulnerable & during the pandemic risked their lives to keep us safe

Iβm noticing links between the person that calls themselves mum and the other person that calls themselves dad
Can we tone down the whole βLabour Government SPLIT by disagreements over assisted dyingβ headlines
This is one rare example of legislation being properly debated and scrutinised beyond party lines and itβs a shame we donβt see more of it in our political system
Nothing more exciting than a thrilling episode of University Challenge. Durham once again proving its rightful place in Doxbridge
