That's nice. I was umpiring a Devs game today and was called a f***ing cheating c*** by a child's parent after her son was run out.

I think that's human nature, but fundamentally you will never please everyone, and if you allow that fear to hold you back, the only person who loses is you. Don't let your critics win. You have plenty of supporters too. Not sure what Bazball journalism looks like (Lizzieball?), but worth embracing.

I appreciate this is easy to say (and coming from a middle-aged white man you don't know at that), but I'd endorse following Jos Butler's lead, and heeding the mantra he has written on his bat, and just doing it anyway. Judgment only matters if you care about the judge, so F your critics and F it.

Sorry, but I disagree. If it was sequential it would be 'by the nth day' rather than 'on the nth day'. Also leads to a calendar pleasing (if wallet ruining) 365 gifts in total.
