Increased regular dose by 5mg, rented northwoods cabin down road from childhood home, had Mpls May Day weekend off from familial duties, went kayaking, went to AEW, had two acting gigs, put a basketball hoop up on the property, led out of town pals on a bike tour of Mpls, ate a footlong hotdog

Coached basketball, coached T-ball, sorta coached soccer, attempted to skateboard every day of July (or was it August? Either way, didn't make it), went to San Diego w/fam for vaca, went to Seattle solo for punk, walked gravel roads listening to Neil Young, acquired an old issue of Your Flesh,

Beyond the big picture sucking that was 2025, personally it was also the worst year of my life. But I have the privilege of ignoring all the good things

Tend to think of 2025 as sucking. Because it sucked. Hugely. And I know this is not unique to me. I, like most of us, at least the good "us", fear it will only get worse; that we're rapidly approaching The End.

Haven't forgotten about this thread, just reconsidering some things (mostly the Rock 'n' Roll Express' hair), and thinkin' maybe I'm doing work that's already been done (paging Dragon King Karl, perhaps)? Also mildly irritated by ppl following along but not participating

But 1st I must acknowledge that, yes, this all spirals from recent pondering of Barry Windham, as mentioned, and to sum extent Kendall Windham. They tagged together sporadically, esp late career, but would not be considered a rock 'n' roll team, rather cowboys/country music team (e.g. "Rap is Crap")

Had a couple questions back channeled. Anonymous asks for A) clarification on why Killer Bees are considered a rock 'n' roll team, masks and all, and B) also wonders if Harlem Heat would be?

I have answers for both, and will address soon.

So, do heels qualify? It's rare, but yes. RPMs were heels. As stated, Badd Company were heels. There's more.

Anyway, going back to same duos doing different gimmicks... Rex King & Steve Doll. Definitely in as Southern Rockers right. But not necessarily as Well Dunn? Hmm, gotta think on that one

So, is "express" in the name an automatic in? I don't think so. See: Ken Patera & Bobby Duncum as Black 'n' Blue Express; Pat Tanaka & Paul Diamond as Orient Express. Neither were rock 'n' roll tag teams. Although Tanaka & Diamond's prior incarnation as Badd Company were, even as heels...

Do you need to have long hair? It helps but not a deal breaker. Rock 'n' Roll RPMs didn't, Fantastics sorta didn't, even Rock 'n' Roll Express' hair was iffy, yet I wouldn't deny entry for any. I mean, two had "rock 'n' roll" in the name. Still, at least one member should have longer locks probably

Losing it now, thinkin' about rock 'n' roll tag teams... Do the Southern Boys/Young Pistols qualify? Probably... How about this one: The Killer Bees? I think so... The Von Erichs? Technically cowboys, probably, but an argument could be made depending on combo. Kerry & Kevin as a duo is legit IMO
