2. Padilla is the ranking member of the immigration subcommittee; she met with him in confirmation hearings. She knows who he is.
3. If she truly doesn’t, she is unqualified for her job.

Can we circle back to the fact that Kristi Noem has a Secret Service detail and it's therefore absurd to suggest that *anyone* in that room wasn't pre-vetted and asked to show government-issued ID before they walked through the door?
