A big problem for upper management is that they seem to think SFParents represents a sizeable constituency and the thing is they don't! They represent a small group of privileged, mostly white folks whose interests aren't aligned with the broader community.

Among issues angering teachers, principals, and families are Su's micromanagement combined with her unwillingness to listen to dissent, her poor management of the enterprise software rollout, her seesawing on Ethnic Studies, and her oversight of Labor Relations.

Informally, I can say that principals and teachers didn't like Wayne personally or professionally and don't think more of Su. Matthews was well-liked personally even by folks who disliked his management; Su and Wayne not so much.

I think it's pretty clear that they're serving as an informal mouthpiece for Su, who really shouldn't be leaking her job issues to them like this. There's also a claim that the Board wastes the Supe's time, which is especially funny bc this org endorsed a majority of it
