Definitely the best option, but this is a feature Twitter has had for like a decade. It would make our feeds, whether all following or curated ones, so much more readable. Like I'm kind of shocked they still don't have this feature, it's been years!

Also, why would they read books that were published 20+ years ago when there are so many different options? Many of which are still fantasy, etc? They're not modern books!

This website really could have been a Twitter clone and it never broke through. I would have loved to see a real mass migration, more funding, more features to do that, instead it's been years and it's just way way less people. It's really too bad! I use Twitter because the people are there.

It feels good to be one of the 6% of Canadian voters who went NDP. Carney has been almost consistently disappointing. I know it's a privilege or whatever under FPTP to not vote Liberal but I'm glad to have principles and reject faux-progressive, centrist, status quo enabling governments.

If they fly an average of 20 hours a week that's even more reason for them to be compensated for all the extra hours. Just because it has been part of the gig doesn't mean it should stay that way.

They are performing work off the clock for $0/hour. That's unacceptable and it's no wonder they are trying to change it. If the airline wants to pay them for all work performed as a compensation package, they should be salaried. But they aren't.

Well no, they don't. They get paid an hourly rate and they're working extra hours on top of that. It's not salaried. And it doesn't matter; it shouldn't be pro rated. Paid work should be paid. There's no wiggle room on this. It's not like this in any other job.

It's not complicated. People should be paid for the hours they worked. The union has the power to hold out for that; they should do so.

Flight attendants *are* an essential service, but that's all the more reason to give them what they want and treat them like the important people they are.
