It feels like the current revolution isn’t fundamentally one of policy or Constitutionality. It’s the dawning awareness that what it’s meant to be American has been to be ignorant, hypocritical, and in deep, deep denial.

The empire is crumbling. And so must or very sense of selves.

All of the people that are suddenly realizing what’s going on and shouting to everyone that they need to wake up are both 1) accurate and 2) not aware of their own complicity. People have been aware for years. Welcome to the fucking problem. Now please deal with your own intolerances.

We make a fatal error agonizing over a lack of leadership in DC. There are some leaders there who we should praise. But people have always been ahead of politicians. Stop fuming and start organizing, marching, helping.

Expecting the Dems to stop this is just avoiding your own responsibility.

We have been divided as a country because we are divided with ourselves.

Is our culture based on tolerance, or intolerance? It can’t be both.

If we don’t decide, we will eat ourselves.

Attend to your own intolerances.

Democracy has been dying in the darkness, slowly, for decades. It doesn’t work unless the people make it.

We are culpable in this because of our disenfranchisement. And we are slowly being spurred to action.

Caring for one another is going to mean something very different after all of this.

If the leaders were taking more action, the people wouldn’t be galvanized into action like they are currently. They know that the people HAVE to engage. And the people won’t engage if they are thinking they don’t have to.

New leaders will emerge from this that otherwise wouldn’t.

Which we need.

Addressing our own intolerances seems to be our individual paths to burning Intolerances. That’s the fight we’re having right now amongst ourselves.

If we do not fight to protect the civil liberties and freedom of all people, then we are promoting intolerance.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Is it a strategy for the Democrats to not point out the constant intolerance expressed by the Republicans, most abundantly at AOC? Or is it just inaction, which is colluding with it.

We all have to stand up to intolerance, every time we see it, everywhere.

Would you rather have civil liberties, or have Donald Trump tell you if what you’re doing is legal or not.

I do not promote violence, I promote defending my civil liberties and my life if I need to.

The people ARE responding and letting them know that we will not be bullied, and will not accept an intolerant culture.

We the People could end this class war by showing up together and refusing to give up our civil liberties. A fraction of the population at State Capitals, city halls, in DC, boycotting, consistently saying no, is epically powerful, and they are scared of us organizing.

Hence the culture war.
