It doesn't have to be like this. We could have a city that isn't bleeding low income and middle income people of color. We could have a city where corruption isn't coin. We could have a city with funded parks, public libraries, public schools and FREE TRANSIT. All of these things are possible.

those people exist on the left but my sense is that they've always been a minority and are an especially embattled one at the moment. anyways as a liberal I'm guessing that you probably don't want to play the "many people on *your* team got things wrong" game
