Still fiddling with some clean up and details. Just something for fun and in the spirit of the season. Helps to lift the my spirits too while I work on less exciting things for the day job. Thanks for the art share!

Those faces! I can feel this moment. Some cool evening long ago. Art is pretty wonderful isn't it?

In collage I had to rollerblade a good distance to a grocery store and then cary everything back. Didn't have much to drink in the dorm so I got a 12 pack of root beer. Lugged it all the way home, opened one...it was diet. Undrinkable. No one would even take it. It wasn't not clearly labeled A&W!

Illustration of a group of he-man/starwars hybrid characters having a post victory celebration where the fake Ewoks are clearly eating the dead enemy solders. That doesn't get in the way of some good drinking though.

Comic characters Dirk Brodey and Tad are on a strange cliff top ruin surrounded by tentacles and monsters coming in from all sides. That brace for a fight.

Even more tragic, Apollo 13 was suppose to be a mission to retrieve it. Thankfully now wallet chains are standard issue for astronauts.

Page from the web comic Dirk Brodey. Dirk and his assistant Tad land on the moon outside a domed city. Dirk exits the ship in an old diving suit to open an entrance near the ship. Tad want to go to but they only have a diving bell instead of a second suit.

Next page, Dirk finds a way to open the door but once inside the whole entrance collapses behind him, cutting him off from communicating with Tad.

Tad races to get in the diving bell in a desperate attempt to save Dirk. Dirk's okay but Tad has no idea of his status.

Cut to Tad shoving the diving bell across the surface of the moon only to get caught on a rock. Unable to move forward he slumps down in despair. Only then he notices an access panel under the moon dust. Another way in!

I've been slowly trying to rebuild my Dirk Brody webcomic site after it decided to become inoperable a while back. Finally getting to one of my favorite sequences when they finally get to the city on the moon only to get split up by catastrophe.

But I still wanted to have Tad stuck using a diving bell rather than a regular suit since it just made me laugh. Anyway, always loved this sequence and getting it back online seems like a good time to share it.

I had this idea with the diving suit and diving bell way back at the beginning of the comic. Originally Dirk was going to be much meaner to Tad, making him carry everything and only give him the worse equipment. I decided that didn't make for a very appealing character.
