Why we need to value experience if we want productivity in healthcare
All of those involved in the situation where a person has received CPR should be checked.
Family, bystanders, CFRS and clinicians alike.. until one has provided CPR it is very difficult to explain how awful the 1st experience can be. It’s a very valid point you’re making here James.
A 2min read but vital for all ambulance staff.
How often do we consider the bystanders experience of providing CPR?
Taking the time to thank them for their input and check their welfare can be invaluable for them. They are the first link in the chain!
