I didn’t think anything of it until the Gruden post yesterday. But that’s super bizarre to put out there as if it just happened when we have clear evidence from Gruden’s account that he played last week

Sure, but they still have millions of viewers who are sharing and talking about the content they’re putting out. They’re not solely going to drive the change, but they’re part of the equation of shifting the overall vibes

Unfortunately doesn’t surprise me too much, plenty of great people in Haddonfield but also lots of wealthy, stuck up people focused on status. I’m from Moorestown originally where it’s a similar make up… moving back to South Jersey next month in Collingswood though and can’t wait to be back!

Philly, especially when you factor in Camden on the other side in Jersey

If the situations were reversed, there’s no question Trump would be pinning this on Democrats and it would work because like you said, it feels true enough to be correct and people are going mostly off of vibes. This is the political environment we’re in and Dems need to adapt to it

Jake has always treated it like a game and clearly doesn’t grasp or care that this actually impacts people’s lives

I’m all for shitting on Dave Portnoy but that’s not him in that video

Could use more for sure (no where close to X right now for NBA finals), but there are some good sports people frequently posting here, especially on the NFL side: @minakimes.bsky.social @rodger.bsky.social @aaronschatz.com @fourverts.bsky.social @cjzero.bsky.social @lateroundqb.bsky.social

Garrett Wilson desperately needs some good QB

This is my first hearing about this and I’m pretty online. How on earth is this not a bigger story?

It’s incredible how bad at messaging Dems are. If the situation were reversed and that were a red state, Republicans would be going apeshit. Take some fucking pride and defend our cities β€” many of the current narratives around US cities are completely out of control and not based in reality

10.06.2025 02:52 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

This is something Republicans overall just can’t seem to grasp. They’re convinced every US city is a shithole based off videos that are usually coming from the same concentrated areas. They couldn’t name more than a neighborhood or 2 in most cities, yet speak so confidently on how live is there

As someone who has lived in both the North and South, Zaid is completely full of shit. There are plenty of warm, solid people in the Soutn but also plenty of snobby assholes. The whole southern hospitality concept is totally overblown as it’s usually only extended to certain people

To an extent. They focused on Signalgate for a week but then just stopped questioning Trump once he said it wasn’t a big deal and they’d do nothing. Instead of continuing to follow up and point out the insanity, they just move on and act like it’s no longer a big deal. They just follow Trump’s lead

Why doesn’t the public care though?

Would this be the case if literally anyone else was doing it other than Trump?

This is truly cult like behavior and it’s been completely normalized at this point. The media still won’t even call it out for what it is which helps continue us down this path

11.05.2025 12:37 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

This is a direct result of the normalization of Trump and male social media influencers being right-wing coded. I understand this is going to take some time to drill into, but I really hope Democrats are taking this as seriously as they should and are actively working to address it

Interesting to think how low that number can get. Consumers haven’t even seen the effects from the tariffs yet and won’t for another month or so, and he’s already in the 30’s!

Even if Caleb doesn’t pan out (I think he will), I’d be blown away if both him and Odunze bust. Both were great prospects and showed flashes their rookie years

Can’t really fault them given the haul they got. An extra 1st next year (which I can’t imagine will be that low) and 2nd for moving down 3 spots? Great deal

I’m okay with sports betting being legal, but there absolutely needs to be more regulation around the advertising. The aggressive marketing + instant access of betting from your phone now just makes it too easy to form bad habits

24.04.2025 00:36 β€” πŸ‘ 7    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Is anyone really handing it to him? I think people are more so happy to hear Rogan say this because he’s one of the more influential voices for vibes based voters and it’s another piece of evidence of the tide starting to turn. It’s silly, but the reality is it’s important

20.04.2025 21:03 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yup, Van Hollen was spot on today. Newsom has made it clear he doesn’t stand for anything and just goes with whatever direction the wind is blowing. Need someone with genuine energy and wants to fight

20.04.2025 20:36 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Also, the market overall didn’t have a terrible day. While the DOW was down 500 points, NASDAQ was barely down and S&P 500 was actually slightly up. There’s not a chance in hell that would be a major story, especially with the market having worse days this week alone.

The average American almost certainly still thinks the economy crashing is the worst case scenario here

~25% of the plant laid off… yikes

Correct, the fact that much of the time it isn’t even political is key. Dems desperately need to crack into the ecosystem for young men as it’s essentially all conservative coded at the moment

14.04.2025 15:37 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yep, this is an important point. Portnoy seems like he’ll likely speak out when the market goes down again, but I haven’t heard much from Rogan, Vonn, etc who a lot of these young men are following. Still need to crack more into that media space

14.04.2025 15:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Wait, did he also just casually say that there are no exceptions on the tariffs again? Smartphones, electronics are now back on the list?

Man, futures in 2 hours are gonna be interesting

13.04.2025 19:45 β€” πŸ‘ 6    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Are we sure this translates to Trump voters abandoning him? IMO, seems like political mis practice to not drive home that the economy crashing is Trump’s fault. We’ve seen voters being extremely willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt on a variety of issues
