First Little ringed Plover of the year on our patch this morning and circa 14 days earlier than last year

This Yellowhammer landed on a fence post 4 yards in front of me this morning. Then it flew down into the grass and picked up some nest building material and flew off with its partner, I guess spring is in the air

It’s on my list, my only visit to Costa Rica with Speyside Wildlife in 2006 cracking bird I even have video of it on YouTube if you search my name and birds name
