Ok let’s be honest. The only rail route out west is this “Canadian journey” and it’s so expensive and once a day that it’s only for tourists. We don’t really have any train service out west!

Yeah everyone needs to be. It does help that the BC conservatives are imploding at the moment. They tried to combine the maga style and more PC style MLAs into one party to beat the NDP and turns out they can’t play nice together. But can’t let up on resisting them despite this.

The BC conservatives were thisclose to winning the last election and they openly showed their maga side. Lots of them here.

Just finished the Abel Tasman coastal track near Nelson, New Zealand after seeing @jmcelroy.bsky.social post about it earlier this year. Such a beautiful place even if I also had an early morning low tide inlet crossing to do. Thanks for introducing me to this route Justin!

There are many things in life that make me think of you! Car alarms being one of them. You certainly have a legacy. I was at an engineering event recently where a few of us were talking about the craziness of metro Vancouver municipalities/politics and the other person follows you too. lol

They also don’t have very good musical acts either. I think that used to sell more tickets. Now they charge a fortune for bands that don’t interest me at all. I know they may be others tastes but I hadn’t even heard of many of them this year and hardly any of them are current acts.

Fine by me. As a frequent BC user I went cold turkey in January and haven’t looked back. Ok the odd time I was tempted because it would be easier for hard to find things but I’ve been holding strong. Fuck bezos. I shoulda done it sooner.
