Predicting that this week we’ll hear more conciliatory words from the Administration regarding Minnesota (since they’re starting to realize that ICE has become politically toxic) but everyone outside of Minnesota needs to know that nothing on the ground has changed.

This is precisely the place the MN National Guard should be.

I will believe that ICE enforcement has changed on the ground when I stop getting daily notices that armed, masked goons are circling my kids’ schools and trying to sow fear in the parent patrols.

This Minnesota Packers feels that love.

BUT he refers (without evidence) to the parent as a "criminal alien." The insinuation here is the man was in the US "illegally." We can't know this without DUE PROCESS.

Minnesota is the best of us.

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.

You might think it was just my love talking but her family said the same thing. Renee leaves behind three extraordinary children; the youngest is just six years old and already lost his father. Do any other progressives have an experience when posting on social media of folks (usually a bit older) responding in patronizing and paternalistic ways to your posts? Like, they want to teach you a life lesson? Am I misreading their tone?

Our federal government is hostile.

The hardest thing about this Packers' season has been watching an extremely talented, Super Bowl-caliber team put it all together near the end of the year, only to lose over half of their starters to injury just weeks before the playoffs.

Sports are a brutal thing, man.
