My short films are screening as part of the 70th Cork International Film Festival tonight! Part of the Free Radicals programme at 9pm, The Arc. Hope to see some of you there.

Nicole Kidman in DOGVILLE (2003), a film by Lars von Trier. I vividly remember working at the Kino Cinema in Cork when we screened this. Due to its length we had an intermission and used the intermission card from THE LORD OF THE RINGS (with that distinctive font) borrowed from another theatre.

Pier Paolo Pasolini was murdered on 2nd November 1975. Here he is during the production of his last film: SALÒ, OR THE 120 DAYS OF SODOM (1975).

Samantha Eggar, rest in peace. Another acting great has left us. Here she is in THE LADY IN THE CAR WITH GLASSES AND A GUN (1970), a film by Anatole Litvak.

The upcoming @imprintfilms.bsky.social release of JADE (1995) features my video essay 'Friedkin's Enigma'. At a running time of 30 minutes it's my longest video essay analysis of a single film - I hope people like it.
