Imagine if KJP or Psaki had said this about the Republican base: not just that half of them were “deplorables” but that the GOP’s “main constituency is made up of domestic terrorists, white supremacists, and violent criminals”? The media, not just Fox, would be in meltdown. GOP would be screaming!

Remember when this was just “one narco-terrorist boat”? Now it’s multiple strikes, foreign nationals dead, and no oversight. At what point will Congress demand answers from this Administration?

I love that we live in a world where we're all supposed to now praise Trump for his peace-making and ignore the fact that at least 20,000 Palestinians have been killed on his watch, with bombs & bullets - & rhetorical support! - that he supplied to Israel.
That's all erased now.

Where the Law is Silent: Plenary Power & the “National Security” Constitution - Harvard Political Review The unspoken truth is that the Constitution can be ignored in the name of “protecting” it, and thus the nation, from minorities.

Plenary power: a complete and absolute power to take action on a particular issue, with no limitations.

Get used to seeing this term in the media for a while, after Stephen Miller accidentally used it in public with reference to the military.

Trump's call to split up the MMR childhood vaccine revives long-settled debate President Trump's suggestion that the combination measles, mumps and rubella vaccine should be separated marks a sharp break from decades of immunization practice.

“Combination vaccines were developed to reduce missed opportunities, increase coverage and minimize the trauma of multiple injections … Undoing that progress would put children at risk."

They are incurious about their own emotional lives, and consequently, those of others.
