considering I’m barely taking my first steps into animation, setting a tiny goal seems good to me. I set a barest minimum and then I see how farther I can go from there.

New year’s resolution: Create at least one 15 second animation per quarter. Pretty easy goal, I think. Last year, I made two loops, just a few seconds long. I’m trying to upload them here but I can’t figure out how to upload gifs.

The effort that I’ve had to and continue to have to put into creating female characters highlights a sexism in society, but also within myself that I didn’t know I had. As I continue to try, I find that I want to work harder on breaking away from that mindset. (4)
