Really proud of Team Sand this weekend. Over a year before Election Day volunteers were out in full force knocking doors in:

Cedar Rapids, Decorah, Ames, Fort Dodge, Cherokee, Spirit Lake, Council Bluffs, Des Moines, Dubuque, and Iowa City.

When I tell you this campaign is getting support from Democrats, Republicans, AND Independents - I'm not kidding. And neither are they - they're ready to knock doors 13 months ahead of Election Day.

For 20 years I processed food assistance for eligible applicants in Michigan. They must meet income and asset limits and have a Social Security number. Able-bodied adults (18-49) may also need to meet work requirements to receive benefits beyond three months. Non-citizen are not eligible.

It’s time to do your damn job Ahsley! Stop vacationing with billionaires on private resorts and holding fancy DC fundraisers and start fighting for Iowans.

Starting today, Iowans are going to start seeing their ACA premiums double, or even triple, all because Ashley would rather shut down the government and deny 250,000 Iowans SNAP benefits than lower healthcare costs.
