But most important to me is that I’m a devoted hockey dad to a very active 9-year old. When I’m not at work, I’m driving hours across the expanses of the Canadian prairies to sit in ice cold arenas and cheer on my son.

On the personal side, I’m a music nerd/collector with tastes that lean into the weird and noisy. As a side hustle, I’m also a farmer who co-owns/operates a small cash-crop farm in southern Ontario with my siblings.

Professionally I’m interested in all things connected to emotions and attitudes with a special focus on the psychology of nonreligion, survey methods, and the psychology of teaching and learning. Also a political junkie who loves to hear ALL of the discourse and shitposting my colleagues offer.
