Two images of Saturn, one from December 1994 when you can the gorgeous ring is prominent around the planet. The one from May 1995, the ring has vanished leaving only two bright dots which are two of Saturns moons. From: https://hubblesite.org/contents/news-releases/1995/news-1995-25.html
It's #Saturn ring-plane crossing day! A once in a 13-15 yr event when Saturn's rings are edge on, as viewed from Earth, making them appear to disappear! I'm so infuriated that the Sun is in the way meaning no-one will see it! π‘ We'll just have to imagine it π

Long Read: A Plea for Plausible Polling
Recent FindOutNow polling has been obvious bollocks. Scotland doesn't get enough polling that we can afford to have complete rubbish distorting our discourse.
Prof. Lorna Dawson will address the Royal Philosophical Society of Glasgow on Wednesday 5th Feb, 19:30 in the Charles Wilson lecture theatre at Glasgow University. All welcome.

By-Election Result analysis: Bannockburn
Labour go fully into reverse, resulting in the first genuine SNP gain in a very long time, and surely calling time on a local administration now consisting of just 4 members.

Instead of nasty explosive rockets a giant catapult gently grabs the pilot by the scruff of the neck and yeets him bodily out of the cockpit. It never went into production, the cowards.

One reason I think itβs important to continue to highlight the disparity on our streets is that most people just donβt see it.
Despite it being obvious to some, so many people don't have clarity because we have done such an incredible job of normalizing this imbalance.
