At our demonstration today, I'm holding a placard stating
"I support
Palestine.
Action
must be taken."
My aim is to highlight the absurdity of the government dictating what can and cannot be said by peace-seeking people

Two images of Saturn, one from December 1994 when you can the gorgeous ring is prominent around the planet. The one from May 1995, the ring has vanished leaving only two bright dots which are two of Saturns moons.

It's #Saturn ring-plane crossing day! A once in a 13-15 yr event when Saturn's rings are edge on, as viewed from Earth, making them appear to disappear! I'm so infuriated that the Sun is in the way meaning no-one will see it! 😑 We'll just have to imagine it 😞

In the context of the lesson for politicians, I think you will find the findings of Oxford's Citizens' Assembly on traffic interesting to read -

Early Martin-Baker ejection concept apparently derived from an Acme prototype intended for coyotes. Well, one particularly Wile E Coyote.

Instead of nasty explosive rockets a giant catapult gently grabs the pilot by the scruff of the neck and yeets him bodily out of the cockpit.

It never went into production, the cowards.

Vehicle regulations aspire to improve safety, but it is clear that the overall effect has been to prioritise the safety of occupants to the detriment of vulnerable road users.

One reason I think it’s important to continue to highlight the disparity on our streets is that most people just don’t see it.

Despite it being obvious to some, so many people don't have clarity because we have done such an incredible job of normalizing this imbalance.

Despite all of the challenges - legal and meteorological - we did it!

After 40 years of damaging deregulation, Greater Manchester has this morning successfully retaken control of the whole its bus network. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Police no longer describing road collisions as β€˜accidents’ – but over two-thirds still refer to vehicles instead of drivers, new research finds Just five of the UK’s 45 police forces have formally adopted the Road Collision Reporting Guidelines launched in 2021, with only one using them in practice

β€œCrashes are not accidental, random, or isolated – they concern people, infrastructure, and systems, which can change”

And when was the last time you noticed a Ford Fiesta behaving suspiciously on its own?
