It's ghoulish as hell that they are trying to create cases of actual suicides, by lying that a brutal murder was a suicide.

They're not only lying about her death, but using that lie to manifest into reality more of the fake narrative of suicide they are pushing.

What's especially ghoulish is that they're not only desperately trying to lie about how she died, but *also* weaponizing that lie to make trans kids actually commit suicide more often.

If you went off the media, you'd 100% think she committed suicide. The entire media has decided to lie about how she died.

Same media that'll let Rowling drive you into bankruptcy via libel suits if you say she's a transphobe.

It is obscene that British media, and her own mother, have fully obscured that Brianna Ghey was murdered.

They've just glossed right over it, smoothly turning it into a narrative about suicide as if that is what happened.

Taking kids' phones away is not going to reduce transphobic bullying. You can ask anyone who was out as a child before phones were everywhere

In a few more: the BBC has opposed or ignored almost every part of the trans liberation struggle in the UK, in part because one of their millionaire reporters is a hateful little transphobe.
And even she doesn't think they've gone far enough.

There’s a growing cottage industry of journalists and influencers whose job it is to sell you “don’t panic, panicking is just what people want you to do. It isn’t that bad yet.” And frankly we should have as much or more skepticism towards them than the panic people. They’re selling complacency.

A lot of us have asked why she seems so unable to speak directly about the transphobic radicalization of her daughter's killers, and I think the revelation that she's friends with of the killers' mums goes a long way in explaining that.

It moves one to ask if she cares at all about the actual causes of her daughter's death.

The conversations between Brianna's killers show how much they mirrored the dehumanizing rhetoric of British elites towards trans people! Yet Esther Ghey can't shut up about how sad her daughter was, how addicted to social media she was, how she was online too much---it's fucking revolting!

I feel like using your daughter's death to bang on about phone usage in schools which having jack fucking shit to say about kids being radicalized into hate, queer kids being isolated and bullied by peers, or the politicians who normalized a transphobic media climate is getting a bit vulgar.

Esther Ghey is kind of allergic to talking about the transphobic murder of her daughter as a transphobic murder, huh

The options for trans healthcare are:
- Wait 3 lifetimes
- Pay tens of thousands of pounds
- Find and pay for increasingly hard-to-access DIY
- Never get it at all

Do they expect gratitude? Or just for us to suffer in silence?

Dressed up as a safeguard, this proposal would criminalise more people trying to hold public office holders to account, because it places significant power, in the hands of people who already hold huge power, to influence the police into deciding what constitutes "harassment"

When politicians complain about toxic behaviour, they want you to think of unfair abuse and intimidation, but often mean citizens simply challenging their elected representatives' complicity in genocide, or cosy relationships with corporations, or failure to answer questions about conduct

The government says this will "help clamp down on toxic behaviour in UK politics", as if that call wasn't quite obviously coming from inside the House.

The government has announced yet another proposed anti-protest law: a new criminal offence of protesting outside the home of someone in public office "where their intention is to influence them in their role or an aspect of their private life", with a maximum sentence of 6 months’ imprisonment.

The aggressive tactics used by the Met Police against trans activists today in London are the same used against anti-genocide, anti-racism and feminist protesters.
We have a shared enemy: fascism and the state.
