26.12.2025 06:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I've been reminiscing on this year a lot the last couple of days, and I cannot even begin to describe the degree to which transition has saved me. This has been the best year of my life so far by such a substantial amount. Plenty of things still suck, but being authentic is amazing.
22.12.2025 22:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I finally picked up Triangle Agency and WOW I am excited to play this game.
Players getting commendations for snitching on each other and identifying that another player should get a demerit is the best flavor win of all time.
This series has become my go to recommendation to sneakily get people to read social commentary. It's fun and easy to read (most of the time) while still hitting some really serious topics really well.

But I stopped looking at you for the remainder of the shift. The next time I saw you I was back on my bullshit: longing gazes and loaded glances galore. I sat beside you while we counted our money, and without really thinking about it, I looked for the cut by your left ear. At first I didn't see it, but then you tilted your head to answer a question and I watched your skin ripple. Right by your ear." I love a day of nerdy convention at Dragonsteel Nexus immediately followed by the local trans meetup. So ideal
05.12.2025 03:55 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thank you so much for writing this. I've never read something so resonant to the risk aversion I felt while growing up. I'm only now figuring out how stunting it was in so many places. I really needed this framing of choosing risk for the outcomes that can come from it, both in roleplay and life. π©·

30.11.2025 16:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Getting Outer Wilds: Design Works by @lostincult.co.uk today has had me obsessing over my favorite video game all over again.
I agree with the foreword that the one flaw of the game is that you can never play it for the first time again, but this book helps.
A book titled Cain's Jawbone. The gimmick of the book is that it is printed out of order and you're supposed to reorganize the pages to be correct. It's also super elaborate and confusing and old.
I loved the video and all but I also spied this in the background through that camera there and I need to know how much of it you've cracked if it's yours because WOW is it complicated.
26.11.2025 05:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As of today the count of trans people I know about from my Mormon mission (including myself) is now four. I love hearing about this every time and studies need to be conducted about why these conditions turned us.
24.11.2025 04:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This video had a lot of really interesting things, but the one that's gonna stick with me is the reminder that Capitalism will not hesitate to create a facade of a dead person to advertise nostalgic virtues that the real person might not even have really held when living. Naked authoritarian fascism. Love and support to the entire team at @jimmykimmellive.bsky.social, who *will* come out the other side of this horrendous abuse of power. Disgusted to see ABC caving to this glaringly illegal and unconstitutional threat from Brendan Carr.

Text on the right side of the image reads, "Welcome to Salon Sinister: A Queer Horror Lit Mag" ""The work featured in this issue is a look inside the minds of those directly affected by the fascist regime in the United States. The contributors in this issue are strong representatives of a population that not only faces daily persecution, but still finds ways to exist boldly and beautifully under threat." Below that reads, "Contributors: Abigail Waldron, al dsym, Amber S., A.V. Shurling, Bee Delores, Christine Makepeace, Ciaran Flake, E.L. Rey, Elizabeth R. McClellan, Ell Huang, Garrett Emerson, Genevieve Hugenbruch, Jay Zimmerman, Jaylan Salah, Molly M., Odin Meadows, Tera Freeman, Trevor Kassis." The right side of the image is the cover of the new free horror lit magazine "Salon sinister" which features a figure cloaked in black with a pale hand emerging within the folds that has pink painted nails. Instead of a face there are big, unnerving teeth seeming to break through the paper. The words "Salon Sinister" are written across the front of the figure in either lipstick or blood. Hard to say which...

So many things to gush about in Silksong, but the thing I've been stuck on all day is how clever it is to use prayer beads as the currency.
It's thematically perfect, satisfying to see in the world, and it allows for a great way to preserve currency between deaths by stringing them together.
I've been anxiously awaiting this all summer and it's happening!!
Huge thanks to everyone who put this together and contributed, and I'm so happy to be here for my first published piece of writing. I can't wait to see everyone else's work.
