My daughter is extremely upset this evening. Why? She learned that some animals can see more colours than she can, and see into the ultraviolet spectrum. This is apparently deeply unfair, and very possibly her supervillain origin.

I have been diagnosed with both ADHD and ASD, and have been experimenting (with the guidance of my dr) with methylphenidate for two months now. And even though rebound can be gnarly, I am blown away by the positive impact these tiny tablets have on my life so far.

An interesting study for my AuDHD and autistic friends; a meta-study shows that methylphenidate has a proven positive effect for ppl with ADHD, but it also seems to improve cognitive skills for ppl on the spectrum: www.cambridge.org/core/journal...

Yes! Sometimes I even cry without knowing why. It used to worry me, but now I see it as something good. Apparently I was bothered by something, and now there's a physical release. Body must do that for a reason, I guess.
