And this, friends, is why I'm supporting Jasmine Crockett in the Texas senate primary. Dozens of candidates have tried "widening the coalition" for 25 years and all have failed. It's time to try turning out the base.

I'll never forget former Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti saying, "In a good economy, homelessness goes up."
A perfect encapsulation of what happens when a "strong economy" is measured by everything except whether workers can afford necessities like housing or healthcare.
You know things are bad when the WSJ puts it this plainly:
"The rewards are going toward capital instead of labor. Profits have soared since the pandemic, and the market value attached to those profits even more. The result: Capital is triumphant, while the average worker ekes out marginal gains."
Screenshot of a Wall Street Journal article titled "The Big Money in Todayβs Economy Is Going to Capital, Not Labor." Two charts show trends since 1980: corporate profits rising as a share of gross domestic income, while labor compensation steadily declines.
The Wall Street Journal just illustrated the core argument of my book: a system rigged to reward capital over labor is one in which even full-time work no longer secures the most basic material needs.
This is the economic order that produces the "working homeless."

Aside from all the other reasons not to believe these people, every one of the βvehicle attacksβ Iβve seen scrutinized were either totally phony -like Renee Goods. Or ones where like an ice agent rammed the purported assailant. Like that woman in Chicago

Until 2016, Ring gave out free/discounted cameras to police & giving cops perks if the public (including victims of crimes) used the officer's discount code to buy cameras--all of which meant Ring essentially made cops salespeople.
This is literally what CURRENT LAW requires. Itβs in the Constitution! www.politico.com/news/2026/02...

Lutnick and Epstein co-invested in Adfin in 2012. Files show they discussed business until 2014, contradicting claims that ties ended in 2005. They also coordinated on NYC real estate and political fundraising through 2018.

This is why you should beware of people who speak of the lessons or verdict of history as if future students of evil will always judge it harshly rather than glorify and aspire to it. If history teaches anything it is that history will not conform to your pleasant delusions at some later date.

This is why domestic "shuffle" flights between ICE detention centers have skyrocketed, much moreso than ICE deportation flights.
When you are moved to a different jurisdiction, you have to refile your habeas petition all over again. They want to wear people down so they'll give up on their cases.
