I wrote this a few days before DeepSeek showed up, and it feels like reality shifted a little. But still. Daddy’s coming. Whichever one it is.

But any AI that’s bad at the truth will be bad at math and science, and AI bad at math and science is worth zilch. It would be nice if that tension ripped apart the computer systems that are currently being built to preserve the billionaire class. But I’m not assuming it’ll be that easy.
