Rewatching DS9 and my God the writing is so good. Especially the one on Cardassian orphans. Learning more about Garak and Dukats game.

Reading this, and I realise that history teaches us that it never ends well for Austrians with delusions of Imperial granduer. Also, the parallels of Napoleon 3rd involvement in Mexico with his Uncles involvement in Spain is hard not to miss
