I’ve said this before but AOC is one of McBride’s most steadfast supporters in Congress and has defended McBride from so much of the transphobia she faces. I regularly see her go out of her way to say hi to McBride or walk out of votes together.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

we are a sizable enough voting block to immediately swing an election if we all choose to withhold support. we should wield that power wisely and use it to steer the party in a better direction!!! not just surrender any say over the matter! it’s insane that this mania has already started

i’ve BEEN SAYING!! if we refuse to establish limits to our support, we will continue to be treated as a guaranteed vote they don’t have to work for. lgbtq+ people vote 85+% for dems. unless we start drawing lines about trans rights, they will just trample us and expect our votes anyways.

As previously noted, the objective here is not to have genuine discussion about best policy, it’s to just completely obscure the field of play so that every proposal becomes the same mush. nothing means anything, and progress becomes impossible.

What's the purpose of saying that there's no position so extreme that someone could lose your vote? Especially this far out? You're effectively giving possible candidates the all clear to move as far right as they'd like. This seems foolish.
