Electioneering prohibited within 100 feet from any entrance to polling place. Threatening behavior also prohibited within that 100 feet so should preclude ICE... Don’t know how lines out the door affects this. Spirit of law would be no electioneering or threats by people in lines.

Police-like presence at voting sites would reduce turnout.

In my state talking politics is disallowed near the polls, with good reason. But having a gathering elsewhere then going as a group to vote could really help allay fears! Could answer questions, demystify process, make sure people are registered and at right polling place… there are more of us.

I don’t even use elevators, feel they’re for people who can’t climb; can’t imagine EVER wanting something to throw my feet forward! Moving ever closer to WALL-E world.

There is pressure to change vehicle safety ratings to also account for pedestrian safety, as is done in EU. Currently they only look at occupant safety so more people die. But yes, change too slow.

In my state that would remove a significant portion of drivers, they’d still drive unlicensed. If DWI in high profile vehicle, $10k fine, that would encourage drunks into smaller cars and make everyone safer. After DWI no high-profile vehicle for 10 years or lose it, plus different colored license.

Lol, jerks ride everything, like the rest of us. My state doesn’t allow e-bike speeds over I think it’s 20-mph. Agree that faster e-bikes need tighter regs, should be disallowed on bike paths, street only, probably with license.

You might take it seriously when someone you loves ends up in the ER. Some on e-bikes have rarely ridden a bike, don’t understand the power of some of these e-bikes. The good, people are out ‘riding’. But helpful if they understand the danger they put themselves and others in if they’re inattentive.
