Payton Pritchard’s 42-point night, Jaylen Brown’s triple-double spark Celtics win Pritchard scored a season-high 42 points and Brown recorded a triple-double Sunday as the Celtics held off the Cavaliers.

The Celtics had seen Payton Pritchard erupt before. When he did so Sunday, they knew to ride him to the finish. Like everyone else, Jaylen Brown knew it was time to get out of Pritchard’s way and let him operate.
