Most of us DO have compassion. We want them to have healthcare, basic human rights, safe working conditions, etc. That is compassion & more than they have for us.

We just won't be tolerating their bigotry. 🤷

"Joyless academic rants about how film is inaccurate" makes for better clickbait than "Professional nerd was directly asked about her area of specialty and answered honestly" but I'm pretty sure she actually knows her topic and was just not being quoted in a manner generous to her expertise
