I can honestly say, Episode 4 of the Coogler doc is the first I’ve ever heard of the “vigilante” killings in Algiers Point after Katrina. Horrific stuff. The home movies of some of the murderers bragging about the killings were pure evil.

The whole episode felt like scenes ending with a group facing imminent death, then cutting back to them 5-10 minutes later and it turns out they survived that wave somehow.

So much of the action in the books was set on the road, during long journeys between places. By season 8, they were just having pop-ins around Westeros. They just lost all respect for the internal logic of that world and it broke the spell.

Kool-Aid becoming a real CB1 would be great for us.
