One of my happiest memories of my Dad - who was a lifelong civil servant - is of him watching Yes Minister. Like Stupid Deaths, it's funny 'cause it's true.

Kesey remains one of my favourite writers (for the first two novels, anyway) but re-reading this as an adult alongside so of Kesey's autobiographical writers did alot to shift my teenage notion of him as something like Jesus to something closer to egotistical self-obsessed nightmare

Cloudflare won't let me see it, so I don't know if you've realised the danger here or not, but when you actually end up liking The Yes Album don't say I didn't warn you.

When I was an undergraduate at SDUC Lampeter, I was taught by Rob Young, Julian Thomas, Chris Tilley, Mike Shanks, Matthew Johnson, Martin Bell, and Nick Barton, among others. It beggars belief that the institution has been run into the ground so comprehensively.

This is going to be an uphill struggle. UWTSD are evidently disinterested in keeping the Lampeter campus alive. We presented a plan for the revitalisation of the University to them several years ago but might as well not have bothered. petitions.senedd.wales/petitions/24...
