It's International Week of Happiness at Work (I know) and I contributed to this article on what orgs can do. When I think about what individuals can do, it involves getting out to talk to people more - in person if that's a possibility, or on social sessions online www.linkedin.com/posts/lisari...

One time I spent five minutes at lunch drawing a reverse centaur and it became one of my most retweeted pieces of art. I resented that so I deleted it but now it can be free again because not enough people follow me on here for it to go big

Ah yes these are cool too! though not quite what I'm after. All of this has made me realise the discovery I did 5 years ago is still entirely valid πŸ‘€ and I have ordered a very slightly bigger version of the bag I have been using since :D

Ooh that looks terrific and well made thanks for the suggest, tho this is all making me realise that my previous research still holds true that my Knomo one has a style I love ❀️

@peterscottreid.bsky.social @jukes.ie Thanks both! That looks terrific and rugged and I can see why it's so popular as it seems incredibly fit for purpose, but Peter's right (and I hadn't realised) that chic is part of my criteria 😁 i might stick with my Knomo but thank you

Filter which shows a wild set of sustainability options, like i can choose if the shell fabrics are 100% recycled yarn but I don't want both the seemingly identical but baffling Bluesign (r) filters

Thanks for the suggestion! Filtering to black removes the more outdoorsy ones tho none i can see have the case strap they look cool. They have this incredibly helpful filter πŸ˜…

Last time i looked at getting something repaired cost wasn't that far off something new. It is starting to look a bit tatty, too, it's been around the world a few times

I might in the meantime but it's a bit of a faff. If I remember to move the zips down the side I think it's also better but the contents are too valuable to trust it

"You have to know how to use A.I. for getting any kind of job in the future" has me pondering the fact that we are actually terrible at knowing what we're going to need to know to do in the future.

Looking to get a new work rucksack.

Current Knomo Beauchamp 5 years on gas developed a knack for unzipping if I have to get a wriggle on.

Needs to have the back strap that can sit on a mini suitcase, pockets for moderate size laptop and look tidy.

Any suggestions / should I just replace it?

this is actually extraordinary and a lot of it's been done just by asking people to drive basically any car produced since 2007. almost no cars later than that (and some earlier) comply with ULEZ - it's not forcing everyone into a Tesla, it's incredibly basic improvements

Does AI help or hinder accessible communications? Accessibility isn't about compliance or checking boxes. It's about recognising that the most effective communication is communication that works for everyone

Does AI help or hinder accessibility? That's what @matissenelis.com and I were asked by Business Reporter and beyond "it's complicated" here's what we had to say on the matter πŸ‘‡

Over the weekend, I was reminded of an observation someone shared that books by women about leadership get placed in the self-help section of bookstores while books written by men about leadership get put in the business section.

This was a Barnes & Noble

Urgh that Gemini advert

"Which of these flowers would make the most unexpected arrangement"

Why not ask the human florist who works in the shop?

It's a scenario where there's literally a professional *right there* who'd be delighted to share their expertise.
