With the way the cap is now snd the way the top contracts are going, some of these dudes are really gonna get squeezed. You may be able to consistently find 15-20 mill guys for cheap.

I think I would also add Trey Murphy to the list of guys I would move the picks for. He would fit into that salary slot as well. There is just no reason the Pelicans would like to help us get better.

If we are going to make a move like that I would want the wing to have a little more ball handling than Bridges does. Would Sac give up Lavine? Lavine without Demar is a completely different player and I think that player could excel in this system.

You’re right. The Cavs and Celtics are both about to run out of money, take the one year gap year and follow the Pacers model of strong athletes who can all handle a little. You can’t be a minus shooter but no more specialist, everyone has to do things, multiple. Pacers model is achievable imo.
