Got my copy signed when they played The Garage in Glasgow. The guy next to me at the gig spent the whole show shouting (futilely as it turned out) for The Fountainhead. Despite this one slight disappointment it was still a blinding show.

Their 7"s were brilliant for that first album. This one had 2 b-sides and the double groove meant you never knew which song would play. Fantastic stuff.

Yep. Re-read it twice. I can see this bit:

I can't see anything specifying that for singular nouns.

I'm not sure that does prove it. Surely the use of boss in the original fess's instance is singular?

Saw them live in the 90s. For all the comments deriding them - they were pretty good live and that first album is still one I go back to from time to time.
