Each department at ETH Zurich is evaluated by an external panel of experts every eight years (D-BIOL: now). In addition to discussions with all PIs, the panel meets with students, PhDs, postdocs, employees, and scientific and teaching staff in order to obtain a comprehensive picture of the D-BIOL.
