can't stand the suspense anymore. gotta ask: what brand of hair trimmers? I've yet to find a trimmer to stand my dogs' soft curly hairs half season π

those voting for the other didn't do it out of love for Putin,
most of them just hate the actual political class and are misinformed - victims to tiktok/Fb feeds and RU propaganda instead of real news

I just enjoyed over 2 hours with them, found a full San Francisco concert on YouTube. Super nice, kind of a Pixies, White Stripes sound, that I also love. Can't believed they went under my radar for this long. π Thank you once more for the tip π

I meant no disrespect, if it appears so I sincerely appologize.
I fully share your thoughts on Russia. Just wanted to stress that they did their thing here as well. Looting, deportation, executions, prison time and torture of the educated and anyone saying no & so on. So yes, Slava Ukraini. πΊπ¦

I remember everything, as the John Prine song goes, yet another one whom we failed to enjoy in due time. The long hours everyday without power. The few vinyls or tapes we had. The empty stores. The long lines waiting for bread. The rare books. Dallas too, but it would come later in the 90's. :-)

You're welcome.
Of Canada, oh Canada π I've heard a lot of Joni Mitchell and Gordon Lightfoot and little on Trudeau. But I've seen his reply to Trump's new trade war and he's got my respect. Very nice speech! So I find your observation spot on, he's got nothing to do with any of those labels.

Also, we've seen very little American anything for the entire communist regim (Ceausescu's lifetime). We've missed an entire cultural revolution. Very few knew of Beatles or got to listen to Hendrix on the other side of the Iron curtain. There was no freedom under Russian influence.

Nope. From '44 to '58 there was a Soviet occupation of Romania. Also, what is now Moldavia was a result of the '39 Ribbentrop-Molotov pact, with RU stripping part of Romania. They even changed the name of the language to make it look legit, but in truth they all speak Romanian to this day.

Buying other people's ideas to grow a biz and collect can only make a rich man wealthier. It's not like you understand life in the process. What this man is starts with an S. And it's never been smart. So he now thinks all men with big balls are tiny, go figure. Mr. Sikorski is a big dude. π
