This is great news and remarkably similar to an idea I posted about how to revive the TV industry for mid career and new creatives. π Props to Channel 5 for investing in the future and new stories. Itβd be fantastic if the other PSBs followed suit. π€

A new analysis by We Own It reveals that Β£6.7 billion, or Β£10 million each week, has left the NHSβs budget in the form of profits on all private contracts given by the NHS from January 2012 to May 2024.

Jeannot Szwarc's Somewhere in Time - a well-composed romantic time travel drama. This Richard Matheson-penned fantasy might be on the schmaltzy side, but an excellent cast - Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, Christopher Plummer - helps it resonate.
