It seems every couple of weeks, some critter comes to visit me outside my warehouse door. This week was a rat snake I named Speedbump, cuz that's what he almost was. He was full of sass and not interested in my bullshit. (Got my first snake bite!)

Though the real life story is dubious, I remember this being pretty entertaining TV. I'd be hard to make something like it now, post-Big Bang Theory, I guess... Plus, what used to be outcast nerd culture has just become mainstream pop culture, so a dork dating a hottie isn't that far-fetched.

Dammit... They say don't judge a book by its cover and I found that true of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Dog of War. Everything suggested I'd get a corgi Borg, but that NEVER happens. In fact, NO dog Borg as the cover suggests. 😡

Been watching the new/final season of Solar Opposites and I absolutely want Terry's shirt of "Live Long and Shocker".

Whomever pitched the idea to streaming apps to play ads whenever I simply pause what I'm watching... I will spit in your face if ever I meet you. No joke here. Hope you never meet me.

Kinda like how recycling works in the USA... Those in power COULD be forced to cease producing such materials, but instead they've passed the buck to us to "properly dispose" of it. Reality is, we have the power to make them not use them in the first place.

Of course, one big reason why I kept going back to using Rogue is that if I perform her hyper-combo finish, I can just turn away from the machine and echo, "Good night, suga!" to my opponent like movie heroes that walk away from an explosion.

I also love that her taunt, like Sakura's and Chun-Li's, causes damage. Soicj personality developed into her for those games...or at least X-Men Vs. Street Fighter.

But there are things about her personality in the game I love... Like that she's her own hype man. The announcer warns, "READY" and Rogue echoes, "Get ready!!"

I have plenty of gameplay reasons why I love playing as Rogue... Fitst, she is similar in range as my big main, Cammy; especially in long-legged kicks. But also she can "fly" and her kiss is not only unblockable, but mixes things up; giving my foe a taste of their own medicine.

Got to meet Lenore Zann this past weekend! Rogue is my main in the Vs. games, so her voice has a permanent residence in my ears. Hard to see, but she signed the controls of my MvsC2 arcade cab, "Good night, Suga! Lenore Zann aka Rogue". 🤩

I had a TG-16 and loved it! Other than Bonk and Alien Crush, I didn't have much access to other titles on the platform. Maybe a few that I was able to borrow from friends here and there. I'm super excited to view this video exploration of games I've missed and appreciate what I've lost.

This is all about broadcast TV. The voices of the hosts being cancelled will find their own independent platforms with greater power.

I often feel like, what the fuck...why isn't the opposition fighting harder or being more effective? But then I figure it's because despite their talk, they have the same interests or leverage against them that keeps them complicit. 😢 I can only hope that's just my Gen X cynicism talking...

Carolla, on the other hand... Used to be a big fan since the Loveline days, but haven't listened to him in almost a decade. Used to be funny and have pragmatic advice... Now all he does is brag or complain.

Broadcast TV--and even cable TV--is basically dying already. Kimmel and Colbert will likely do what everyone else has done and go independent via YouTube and/or podcasting. It's easy for the government to break down mainstream media now, but these voices have the means/power to reach their audience.

Not that I'm a big fan nor would I die on this hill, but in his defense... Not gonna judge him much for stuff he made >25 years ago. Not w/o also judging myself that long ago too. Seems to be doing better things in his career since then.

But yeah, it feels weird.

Totally worth it! I paid full price for digital when it first came out. My only regret is that I didn't wait a bit longer to buy the physical release. (You could say...lingering regret.)

I'm gonna be honest... I liked Kpop Demon Hunters. I liked it a lot! But I think it needed at least 20min more movie than they were willing to make for it to be truly GREAT. What matters most overall, I think, is that the soundtrack fucking slaps.

Though, unlike most beach towns we've been to like Myrtle Beach, we expected a high MAGA presence, but were impressed how minimized that is in that area. More often we'd see things like this...

After seeing the fuck ups of Lunar, Alan Wake II, and The Stanley Parable... I'd confidently bet on who WON'T be publishing any future physical for Snatcher.

Had a hell of a time vacationing at Dollywood last week! Easily in our top 5 theme parks we've visited. The surrounding area was like the mountain towns we've already visited mixed with the tourist traps of Myrtle Beach.

I wanna bring back dumbwaiters!
