John Fisher is a classic example of someone who shouldn’t be involved in the entertainment field. He doesn’t understand anything about it and thinks he can coast on blind fan loyalty forever. It doesn’t work like that. The people have spoken. They want something different.

No one should encourage anyone to lick the boots of John Fisher or MLB. Maybe people aren’t supporting it because they’re sick of the bullshit and they were fine with having the Rivercats. Also, let’s say people don’t care about that, maybe the market isn’t big enough to actually support a team

When people say bands don’t need labels or question what they’re good for…it’s this stuff. It’s helping you stand out in an ocean of music. Giving people a beacon of quality to follow. It’s important work.

John probably shouldn’t have absolutely tanked the brand in such a definitive fashion. High ticket prices, outright lies and a team that’s been famously shitty on the field for several consecutive years doesn’t help either.
