Iβve been a bit quiet on here lately, but Iβve been working on a project.
After 65 hours of integration, my largest and longest astro image to date is finally complete. This is a 4-panel mosaic of the Fighting Dragons of Ara ππ₯

Gum 15 (center) located ~3000 light years away in the constellation Vela.
The Gum catalog consists of 84 emission nebulae in the southern sky and was made by astronomer Colin Stanley Gum (1924 - 1960).
Captured with the ASI533MC and Samyang 135mm lens.

My latest iteration of M17 aka the Omega Nebula in SHO. Located about 5,000 light-years away in Sagittarius.
Swipe to compare 2024 and 2022 versionsβitβs interesting to see how processing techniques evolve over time.
