This government could have taken on the super-rich to tackle inequality.
They chose to fan the flames of racism and embolden the far-right instead.
Our country needs a change in direction, now.
Itβs time for a real alternative that redistributes wealth, ownership and power.
The scenes on our streets are shameful consequences of decades of austerity - government after government fanning the flames of anti migration instead of tackling inequality.
We can & must make different choices. Solidarity to all communities under attack. We stand together.
Yesterday they marched to "send them back" & the government is deperate to show they're listening.
On Wednesday we have to take back the narrative - because a government that bows down to Trump & racists, opens the door to fascism, too.

I wouldnβt have thought many Labour MPs came into politics to strip the rights of torture survivors to be reunited with the spouses & children.
They need to take a long hard look in the mirror & ask whether Starmer, Cooper & Reeves are really the leadership their careers should be remembered with.
I'm still stunned that @yorkshirebylines.co.uk put in the huge effort to collect all press-reported downsides of Brexit (David Davis had said there would be "none"!)...
