Sure “the left” has much stronger anti-“colonists” reactionary tendencies that make them far more prone to seeing them as evil. But unless someone is jumping to antisemitism themselves, I think it is less the left’s fault directly than the people asserting they are one in the same.

Can we not generalize like this? Traditional shit libs are doing this too to an extent and when we want to criticize a group broadly I think we should aim our ire at the groups that purposefully conflate the state of Israel with Judaism when it is convenient to shield themselves from criticism.

Fundamentally, you don’t choose your values based on polling. You can use polling to see how well your communication and demonstration of your values is resonating with voters though.

I recall gen x saying the exact same thing about millennials when the power dynamic favored us less.
