Being even slightly better than the other guy means you can't be criticised. If the other guy makes a policy to eat 1000 faces, make a policy to eat 999 faces and you're good

If you criticise both major parties for hurtling to the right it's somehow your fault the country ended up hurtling to the right

As an OG fan of the 28...Later films ever since I saw 28 Days Later in the cinema as a 14 year old and it ruined me, it makes me very happy that the franchise is still thriving and doing cool stuff, that said Bone Temple is not as good as the previous one and everyone saying that is tripping

As though so many critics aren't harrassed on a daily basis and aren't self-censoring CONSTANTLY based on what the worst-faith reception to our work will be (those who haven't been driven out of the space entirely). My dude only needed to run his thoughts by one woman games critic. Just one.

Sorry I know I'm contributing to the outrage machine here, but god I'm just baulking at the idea that games critics need to be MORE aware of how negatively gamers feel about us and our work, that we are somehow oblivious to it. "Did you know many people don't like your criticism of Game?" My guy.

I know!! XD If you think someone's take was bad, make your own video/blog post/whatever with your reasons about why it was bad. It's called discussion. Nothing is stopping this from happening, and in fact it happens all the time

Here's one I got just last week! This is a pretty typical one actually. The cruelty from commenters is incredible and constant. People who have never created anything in their life going, "Hey, I noticed ONLY 30 thousand people have seen the thing you made. That's not much. You kinda suck huh"

Extremely funny to somehow not be aware that the most rancid, cruel, soul-calloused people in this space are not games critics but the reply guys who mass harrass and dox them
