I nicked my parents' Roomba to help with the cleaning in preparation for New Year's.
Unfortunately, it seems like this thing is as scared as I am of going underneath the couch to confront the sentient dust monsters living there...

Finished my "buy enough food so that I do not have to go anywhere near another grocery store in the days before Christmas" shopping without punching anyone or bursting into tears.

I am very proud of myself.

My stress dreams have become increasingly autistic.
Last night, I had lots of people in my kitchen, very helpfully doing the dishes and sorting all my cutlery wrong.

It's barely past lunch on my first day back in the office after my vacation, and I have already managed to break not one, but TWO computers... and I'm bleeding.

Contacted my housing association to get them to fix my lack of hot water, and someone arrived this morning.
5½ hours, two superintendents and three plumbers later, I've now gotten the update that "we have now managed to shut off the water".

Baby birds are learning to fly in my garden.
They're not very good at it, and now one of them is sitting outside my window, looking at me like the crash landing was somehow *my* fault.

Ran a game of Ultimate Werewolf at the office today.
It's strangely cathartic to describe the gruesome ways your coworkers have murdered each other.

No, Google Docs, I do not randomly want to correct this "said" to Danish. There are currently 55.000 in this document and not a *single* one of those are in Danish. Why do you think this specific instance of a word I have used seven times on this page alone would be any different?

I, on the other hand, have some moral qualms.

What did I miss?

I was asked about my thoughts in regards to a new office space today.
My conclusion was that as long as there's stable internet and you can't hear mysterious screaming through the vents, it'd be an improvement over the last office I worked in.

Hitting those first 10K is indeed a great feeling

Swords *are* cool. And so are crossbows!

For now, the most important part is just to get words on paper 😄
