Yep. It's why we can't easily put in a mini-split for the occasional hot night. And why putting in an induction range is a major remodel (>$100k). All trades get involved, electrical, plumbing (cap the gas), stucco (panel is on outside wall), drywall/plaster, painting, plus permits.
