Great question and related to my earlier post - lots of talk about how experienced engineers can use AI to speed up their job, none about how you produce experienced engineers if you're training them to offload their critical thinking processes to an AI

On my end there's been a lot of handwringing for years now about how much work it would be to do proper updates for PRC-023 and the like, especially as many utilities lack sufficient numbers of experienced settings engineers, so that's the main driver I see

I tend to agree but I expect such things from management, my ire is for my fellow engineers. I HAVE seen a few suggest it now this year, and there have been some workshop presentations
